CRi, also known as Christophe Dubé, is a significant player in the Montreal electronic music scene with his distinctive sonic palette characterized by pulsating house synths, intricate syncopated snares, and avant-garde basslines. As a self-taught artist who abandoned his studies, CRi gained recognition with his EPs 'Tell Her' and 'Someone Else' on Young Art, TOKiMONSTA's label. He broke through in 2018 with a Juno nomination and the release of the mini EP 'Me and My Friends'. He notably collaborated with Charlotte Cardin on the reimagined track 'Fous n'importe où', a reinterpretation of Daniel Bélanger's timeless classic. Starting on Anjunadeep in 2019, CRi garnered the attention of renowned figures like Pete Tong and Annie Mac of BBC Radio 1. His debut album, 'Juvenile,' solidified his position in the Montreal music scene. In 2021, CRi became the first electronic music act to win the Emerging Artist award at L'ADISQ and headlined the main stage at the prestigious Montreal International Jazz Festival.
With an ever-evolving sound and critical acclaim, CRi is poised to make an international breakthrough with his highly anticipated second album, "Miracles."
