Train
The railway company VIA Rail Canada connects more than 450 cities. If you come from the United States, climb aboard Amtrak trains, which offers daily departures from several U.S. cities to downtown Montreal. Car
If you plan to travel by car, Montreal is accessible by road to those coming from elsewhere in Canada and the United States. Indeed, the island of Montreal is only 75 km from the U.S. border, and many roads and highways connect to the city, including the Trans-Canadian highway. Depending on your route, then you will take the main bridges - Champlain, Jacques-Cartier or Victoria - or the Louis-Hippolyte Lafontaine tunnel-bridge to get to the city center.
De la Commune Street, Berri Street or Saint-Laurent Boulevard lead into the Old Port and its parking lots. Parking is available at Clock Tower and King-Edward Quay.
