Biography
Born in Congo and raised in Zambia, Mootanda is a Dj and event producer based in Montreal. Drawing Inspiration from his African heritage, he began his musical career behind the decks as a resident DJ for Afrotonik, with the main mission to celebrate the evolution and beauty of African culture through dance parties and music festivals. His sound selection and taste spans through a wide range of afro dance music from the motherland and beyond. Such as afrobeats, afro house, kuduro, coupé décalé, afro club, amapiano and many more.
